Our family received its first cocker in 1971, when I was 4. Previously to that my mother bred and exhibited Samoyeds. I have handled cockers, springers, curly coated retrievers, samoyeds and dalmatians. My husband Trevor was also bitten by the showing bug. My son, Sean was placed in 7 consecutive Pedigree State Junior Handlers Finals.   Now that Sean is in Year 12 and still occassionally attends a dog show when his time permits.
